Management Software: Budgeting

“Smart Processes” LLC offered assistance for the budget planning cycle of municipalities, aiming increased accountability and informed decision-making of the council, as well as transparency and enhanced citizen participation in the planning process. Fifty-two budget surveys were created and used by municipalities to improve citizen participation in budget planning.

The Contractor has successfully achieved the below-mentioned outputs:

• Assist municipalities in integrating performance information in the Medium Term Budget Preparation formats distributed by the Ministry of Finance (MF).

• Production of tools that enhance e-participation: 20-30 dashboards that translate MTBP into formats with interactivity and where feedback from citizens can be withdrawn. 

• Regional Workshops on knowledge transfer related to Interactive Budgets/Reports and data quality.

• Assist 30 municipalities in completing the data reporting required for the Medium Term Budget Preparation formats distributed by MF.

• Regional and hands-on training for data storage, quality, and linking data with MTPB Products and indicators.

• Training and provision of templates and association of the Regional Focal Point in the process of service data collection and data quality assurance
