Grant Management System

This project started in October 2019 in collaboration between “Smart Processes” and “LëvizAlbania” organization as a need for a new management system for grants and an accounting system in the framework of the development of the activity in support of democracy at the local level.

Grant Management System (GMS) is a web-based platform that supports the management of the entire grant life cycle for all funds your organization manages. It is a fundamental management instrument for fund managers. GMS streamlines allocations and facilitates interaction among all stakeholders involved in the grant management process, supporting them in discharging their functions.

The implemented GMS system strengthens the capacity to implement a risk-based management approach effectively. In addition, the system supports fund managers in implementing due diligence processes and agreed on control mechanisms. The GMS also allows for proper monitoring and calculation of fund management performance. The system monitors the speed and quality of various processes, including allocations, disbursement of funds, monitoring, reporting, and audits. GMS Business Intelligence modules are publicly accessible and provide real-time data, including commitments, contributions, allocations, receiving partners, geographic coverage, and funding distribution between groups.
